- If you are installing this product for the first time, the
- subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
- installed if you use the ``go'' menu item. To install a
- different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
- ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
- customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
- select the ``go'' menu item.
-
- Note: The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to
- the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for information

-
- All of the subsystems for websetup can be installed using
- IRIX. You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to the
- _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for complete installation
- instructions.

- 2.4 _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s
-
- +o The websetup product depends upon the freeware Perl
- version five product fw_LWperl5.sw.perl (bundled as
- part of the OS starting with 6.4.)
-
- +o The websetup product requires you to have one of the
- following Internet servers installed on your system;
- Netscape Fasttrack, Netscape Enterprise or SGI Web
- Server based on Apache.
-
- 2.5 _C_o_n_f_i_g_u_r_a_t_i_o_n__a_n_d__S_e_t_u_p
-
- There are two configuration options for websetup; webface
- and webface_apache. Only one option can be active at any
- one time.
-
- 2.5.1 _c_h_k_c_o_n_f_i_g__w_e_b_f_a_c_e__o_n This option is used in
- conjunction with the Netscape Fasttrack or Enterprise
- servers. You should only chkconfig this option on if you
- have one of those servers installed. Upgrading from an
- older version of websetup shouldn't change your existing
- configuration. You can start the server once you've enabled
- this option by executing "/etc/init.d/webface start".
-
- 2.5.2 _c_h_k_c_o_n_f_i_g__w_e_b_f_a_c_e___a_p_a_c_h_e__o_n This option is used in
- conjunction with the SGI Web Server based on Apache (which
- is bundled with the OS starting with 6.5.12). This is the
- new default websetup server configuration for all new
- systems. You can start the server once you've enabled this
- option by executing "/etc/init.d/webface_apache start".
